Prior to rejoining the Borden Real Estate team as a broker in October 2009,
Erica served as a Vice President in Portfolio Management at NewStar Financial, Inc.
in Darien, Connecticut, where she supported the successful closing of loans
totaling $250mm in commitments, managed approvals for tenant improvements and capital
expenses for more than fifty loans totaling $600mm in credit exposure and was actively
involved with problem loan workouts.
Erica's experience with commercial real estate began in 1999 as a founding member of
an LLC with holdings in agricultural land, residential rental and commercial properties
in Central Ohio. She originally joined Borden in early 2005 after spending two years
on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Assistant.
She holds a BS in Finance from Florida State University and an MBA from Johns Hopkins
University.
Erica is a member of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors.
